Imperfections are not inadequacies; they are reminders that we are all in this together.

Transform pain into connection and growth
Our relationships—with ourselves and others—are fundamental to our overall wellbeing. Yet, for many, past wounds can create barriers to connecting in the ways we long for. I work with clients to identify the coping mechanisms that once helped them navigate life but are no longer serving them in the present. By exploring these survival strategies, we create space to cultivate compassion for ourselves and others. Through this practice of self-acceptance, we can begin to build the deeper, more meaningful connections we've been longing for.
Intimacy comes when we are willing to be vulnerable with one another. I view therapy as a place to practice vulnerability in a supportive environment. Whether working with an individual, couple, or family, our focus will be on self-discovery and exploring the past traumas that have shaped your relationships. Achieving the life and connections you desire often requires stepping into the unknown—taking risks and embracing discomfort. While I will be your guide and encourager throughout the process, the journey and the choices you make are ultimately yours to lead. My goal is to walk along side you as you learn to unlock the strength and resilience that already exists within you. It takes courage to face our emotions, stories, and experiences but by doing so you can learn to accept and love yourself and others.
I use the power of mindfulness to help clients connect to their inner knowledge. Our work together may involve visualizing exercises, art making, journaling, and movement to allow for a verity of modalities for processing. These strategies are ideal for those are working through depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, addition recovery, and codependency.
