Education and Experience:
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate in the State of Washington (License #MG6070992). I received my Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Seattle in the area of marriage and family therapy with art therapy. I am working towards my full licensure and receive weekly supervision.
I have been practicing in the field since 2012. My background has been in working with children, adolescence, adults, and families in a community mental health setting. Through my work in community mental health I became skilled at building treatment plans, collaborating with a treatment team, and teaching skills and providing resources. I have worked with individuals and families seeking help for a variety of reasons including anxiety, depression, relational conflicts, trauma, self esteem, life transitions, and behavioral problems
My Background:
I grew up in Boise, Idaho and have lived in Seattle for the past ten years. My interest in psychology started at young age when I was diagnosed with dyslexia. Learning how to navigate feeling different from my peers and finding my own unique strengths fueled me to want to help others do the same. Outside of work I love cuddling with my two kitties, exploring new places in Seattle, rewatching my favorite show Parks and Rec., and being in nature.
